Today was Brandt's graduation from NOVA. What is NOVA you may say? Well, it's mission statement is "Nurturing youth to seek out positive Opportunities, internalize good Values, and to accept Accountability for their choices in life. N.O.V.A. assists parents, families, and communities in protecting youth from the potentially devastating effects of illegal drugs, violence, and negative media exposure." Brandt absolutely loved participating in NOVA every Tuesday. He loved Officer Davis from the Saratoga Springs Police Department as the instructor. He went above and beyond and met all the requirements so that not only did he graduate, but he received an award for creation of one of the best rockets and another award for completing all the tasks that were considered extra--like not using any type of electronics for an entire week. He is a great boy that has learned so many good skills on how to deal with life because of this program. Way to go Brandt!
